Job Summary:

The Presales Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the sales team by coordinating presales activities and ensuring that all necessary information, documentation, and resources are available to facilitate the sales process. This role involves close collaboration with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development:

    Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and tenders. Gather and compile information from various departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive proposals. Ensure all proposals comply with customer requirements and company standards.
  • Documentation and Resource Management:

    Maintain a library of up-to-date presales documents and resources, including product brochures, case studies, and technical specifications. Update and manage the repository of templates for proposals and presentations.
  • Coordination and Communication:

    Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, technical support) to gather necessary information and resources. Schedule and coordinate presales meetings, demonstrations, and presentations. Track and follow up on outstanding proposals and requests for information.
  • Product and Market Knowledge:

    Stay informed about the companys products, services, and industry trends. Assist in conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Sales Support:

    Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, updating CRM systems, and managing sales collateral. Assist in organizing and coordinating sales events, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Customer Interaction:

     Handle initial customer inquiries and provide basic information about products and services. Assist in the preparation and delivery of product demonstrations to potential customers.

Skill Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 1.5-3 years of experience in a presales, sales support, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools.
  • Basic technical knowledge related to the company’s products and services.
