As a Presales Consultant/ IT Manager at LDS Infotech Pvt Ltd in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in engaging in presales technical consultancy activities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance and guidance during the presales process by understanding customers" technical and business requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with technical teams and sales personnel. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - Attend meetings with potential clients to identify technical and business requirements for developing appropriate solutions. - Provide technical solutions professionally and adhere to agreed timeframes. - Deliver technical presentations internally and externally with confidence. - Conduct training sessions on solutions, offer product support to channel partners, and create internal design configuration documentation. - Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on current products and contribute insights for new products. - Build and maintain productive relationships internally and externally, and keep colleagues updated on activities. - Develop bespoke solutions within a design and development framework. - Understand business drivers and risks for customers and sell technical solutions enthusiastically. - Respond to customer requests for information on RFIs and RFPs and leverage best practices in sales enablement. - Qualify and assist in closing sales opportunities, drive regional revenue, and maintain account plans. - Ensure successful pilot projects, product installations, and corporate visits. - Resolve technical and business presales issues, assist in business development activities, and maintain demos and software on presales equipment. - Engage in product training to enhance product knowledge. The technical expertise desired for this role includes strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Databases, End user products, Virtualization technologies (ESX, KVM, HyperV), Windows and Linux based systems, network storage systems, data centre services, routing, switching, Firewall, cloud technologies (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS), and general network infrastructure.
