Pre-Sales Specialist - Switching and Routing

Role Overview: As a Pre-Sales Specialist in Switching and Routing, your main responsibility will be to provide expert-level technical pre-sales support for IP/MPLS routing and Layer 2/3 switching solutions to international clients. You will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, designing optimal solutions, and assisting the sales team in winning complex deals by offering tailored solutions and technical guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with global sales teams to understand customer requirements and design effective routing and switching solutions. - Conduct customized technical presentations and product demonstrations for international clients. - Respond to global RFPs with technically sound solutions, accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs), and compelling techno-commercial proposals. - Analyze product specifications to develop competitive differentiators and unique selling points. - Assist in network planning by designing IP addressing schemes, topology, and solution architecture. - Cultivate strong relationships with customers and provide technical guidance as a trusted advisor. - Offer feedback to product and engineering teams based on market and customer insights. - Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. - Support post-sales transitions by ensuring a smooth handover to implementation and support teams. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in global pre-sales or technical sales for routing and switching products. - Industry certifications like CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable. - Proven track record of working with international clients across diverse geographies and time zones.
