Job Description

Role Purpose : This will act as a bridge between the sales team, customers, and product teams by providing consultative solution support, technical demonstrations, training, and successful implementation of solutions. The role requires both deep technical knowledge and strong consulting skills to build customer confidence, enable sales effectiveness, and drive revenue growth through solution adoption

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Solution Consultancy team to continuously upgrade their consulting and technical expertise.
  • Establish and manage a structured pre-sales framework covering requirement analysis, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) management, and seamless handover to implementation.
  • Act as the solution evangelist for Konica Minoltas Office, Production Print & Industrial product lines, including AccurioPro, IQ-501, APCM, AP Flux, and related workflow/office solutions.
  • Partner with sales teams to deliver technical presentations, ROI justifications, and competitive positioning to win opportunities.
  • Ensure delivery of regular training programs for sales teams, distributors, and resellers to strengthen solution knowledge and market readiness.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers (PLMs) for aligning pre-sales activities with product roadmap and business goals.
  • Oversee the SC team’s delivery of Level 2 (L2) technical support for POC, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Drive structured customer engagement activities, including demonstrations, field visits, workshops, trust-building initiatives, and national events.
  • Ensure customer implementations are completed on time (within 2 weeks of license receipt and environment readiness).
  • Define and monitor SC team KPIs, ensuring measurable contributions to solution revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the pre-sales function in strategic business reviews, bringing market insights and customer feedback for business planning.

Key Deliverables

  • Achievement of revenue targets for solutions across OP, PP and IP product lines.
  • Successful execution of demos, POCs, field visits, and customer workshops.
  • Delivery of 100% sales and channel training programs with high knowledge adoption and evaluation results.
  • Timely completion of solution implementations with customer sign-off.
  • Strong pipeline contribution and funnel management through pre-sales engagements.
  • High customer satisfaction scores through consultative support and solution success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12–18 years of experience in solution consultancy, pre-sales, or technical leadership roles in IT/software/printing solutions industry.
  • Proven track record of leading pre-sales or solution consultancy teams in enterprise/technology-led organizations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of digital printing solutions, workflow automation, and enterprise document management.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing solution design, POCs, and RFP/tender management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units and drive alignment between sales, product, and operations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for customer, partner, and team engagements.
