Pre-Incubation Manager

About CRIEYA

• Develop, implement, and manage the pre-incubation program curriculum, focusing on ideation, design thinking, market research, and prototype development.
• Conduct outreach and scouting activities to attract promising innovative ideas and projects from students, faculty, and external innovators.
• Oversee the application, evaluation, and selection process for pre-incubatees, ensuring alignment with CRIEYAs mission and focus areas.
• Monitor and track the progress of all pre-incubated projects/teams towards achieving their milestones, specifically in converting ideas into MVPs/Prototypes.

2. Mentorship and Support

• Curate, build, and actively manage a strong pool of industry mentors, domain experts, and academic advisors for the pre-incubation teams.
• Facilitate regular one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to provide strategic guidance on business model development, technical feasibility, and team building.
• Organize and conduct workshops, bootcamps, and training sessions on essential topics like IPR, finance basics, pitch deck preparation, and legal compliance for early-stage ventures.

3. Ecosystem Building and Networking

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal (IIC, various departments) and external stakeholders (industry, investors, other TBI/AIC centers, government bodies).
• Organize community-building events, hackathons, seminars, and networking sessions to foster a vibrant entrepreneurial culture within the university.
• Liaise with the

  AIC-MITADT Incubator Forum

  to ensure a smooth transition of successful pre-incubation teams to the formal incubation program.

4. Administrative and Compliance

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the CRIEYA facility, including resource allocation, co-working space management, and lab access coordination.
• Assist teams in applying for and managing grants, seed funds, and intellectual property (IP) protection.
• Prepare detailed periodic reports, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and utilization certificates, for the University management and relevant funding agencies.
