About The Opportunity

• Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, byline articles, and newsroom copy tailored to tech beat journalists.
• Build and maintain media lists; proactively pitch stories and follow up with reporters and industry analysts.
• Manage company social channels: schedule posts, create visuals, and monitor engagement and sentiment.
• Track media coverage and produce weekly coverage reports and KPI summaries for the communications lead.
• Support product launch PR activities including press kits, briefing notes, and influencer outreach.
• Assist with research for thought-leadership pieces, awards submissions, and industry speaking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree/diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong command of written English and an ability to craft clear, journalist-friendly copy.
• Portfolio of sample writing (press releases, blog posts, social copy) preferred.
