PPIC ASSISTANT MANAGER (PRODUCTION PLANNING)

As an Assistant Manager PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) at our Client, a Manufacturer & Exporter of Pharmaceutical Formulations in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, your role will be critical in ensuring timely manufacturing of pharmaceutical products while maintaining optimal inventory levels and regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Planning:** - Develop and implement production plans to meet department demands. - Coordinate with production, quality control, and procurement teams. - Monitor daily production output and adjust schedules if needed. - Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines. - **Inventory Management:** - Oversee levels of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods. - Implement efficient inventory control systems. - Perform regular audits and work with procurement for stock replenishment. - **Coordination and Collaboration:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth production processes. - Communicate with suppliers and vendors for timely material delivery. - Provide production and inventory reports to senior management. - **Forecasting and Demand Planning:** - Assist in forecasting demand based on market trends and historical data. - Adjust plans according to changes in demand or production issues. - **Process Improvement:** - Identify areas for process optimization in production planning and inventory control. - Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity. - **Regulatory Compliance:** - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products. - Maintain accurate records as per regulatory and quality assurance standards. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science. - 5-7 years of experience in production planning and inventory control in pharmaceutical industry. - Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and supply chain management. - Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and MS Office. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
