Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in Power BI (including Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Apps), and experience in transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Manage and maintain Power BI Apps and workspaces within the Power BI Service.
Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, Azure, APIs, etc.) and ensure data integrity.
Optimize and enhance Power BI performance (data modeling, DAX queries, refresh strategies).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and data access permissions.
Develop and maintain data models and ETL pipelines (using Power Query, Dataflows, or Azure Data Factory).
Troubleshoot and support Power BI solutions in production.
Document dashboards, datasets, and processes for future reference and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualification

Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling best practices.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience integrating Power BI with Azure, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Good understanding of data visualization principles and UX/UI design for dashboards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
