Your Role

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Implement data modeling techniques including star and snowflake schemas.
Optimize performance of Power BI reports using best practices (e.g., using measures over calculated columns, import mode over direct query).
Apply Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access based on business requirements.
Configure and manage Power BI Gateway for secure data refresh from on-premise sources.
Work with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, CSV, and SSIS.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.

Your Profile

Strong understanding of Power BI relationships, cardinality, and data modeling.
Experience with DAX functions including RANKX, calculated columns, and measures.
Knowledge of incremental data refresh and dynamic filtering using parameters.
Familiarity with disconnected tables and bridge tables for handling complex relationships.
Exposure to workspace governance and deployment pipelines.
Basic understanding of Power BI paginated reports and their use cases.
Willingness to learn and adapt to cloud technologies like Snowflake.
