Position: Power BI Developer Location: Surat, Gujarat Requisites: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development. Strong knowledge of DAX , Power Query (M) , and data visualization best practices. Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schema), ETL processes, and performance optimization. Familiarity with Power BI Service (Workspaces, Gateways, Sharing, and Security). Experience working in an Agile development environment. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business requirements. Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop tabular and multidimensional models using DAX and Power Query (M). Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability. Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs. Create and manage dataflows, datasets, and custom visuals as needed. Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity. Troubleshoot data and performance-related issues in Power BI reports. Ensure data governance, security, and access controls are implemented correctly.
