Position: Power BI Analyst / Developer

Location: ChennaiWork Mode: Onsite/Hybrid/RemoteShift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific time)Engagement Type: Full Time

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Analyst cum Developer to design, build, and deliver insightful dashboards and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into meaningful reports and help drive data-based decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • Build robust data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns
  • Connect, transform, and clean data using Power Query / M
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud systems)
  • Analyze business data, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and follow BI governance standards
  • Optimize dashboard performance and schedule data refreshes
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and deliver solutions

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development
  • Excellent knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Good To Have

  • Experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, SQL DB)
  • Knowledge of Python / R for analytics
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
