Experienced PostgreSQL DBAs to provide BAU support, performance tuning, and maintenance for PostgreSQL environments. Ensure database security, availability, and performance while collaborating with engineering teams for feature development and automation.
Deliver BAU PostgreSQL support across multi-cloud environments.
Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL database environments in line with SLAs.
Implement and manage high availability, clustering, and replication (Patroni).
Perform backup and recovery using pgBackRest.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Ensure DR readiness and compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with automation engineers for Ansible-based deployments.
Support smooth transition from existing support arrangements (handover by December 31, 2025).
Strong PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on with Crunchy PostgreSQL and Patroni clustering.
Proficiency in pgBackRest for backup and recovery.
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL infrastructure, replication, and HA setups.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and advanced Bash shell scripting.
Experience in multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Monitoring and alerting for large-scale systems.
Exposure to FOAK solutions (advantage).
Good understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, backup & recovery, HA, BAU admin
Clustering experience with Patroni. Any implementation of Patroni. Whether it is Crunchy or Percona or other packages.
Some experience with automation shell scripting or Ansible.
