Postdoctoral Researcher

Eligibility:

Candidates who have completed their PhD or have submitted their thesis in any domain of computational materials science, theoretical condensed matter physics, or quantum chemistry.

Research Areas

The selected candidate will work in one of the following areas. However, the research focus is flexible, and the candidate may work in any other area of mutual interest:

1. Computational simulations for energy applications of nanoscale systems

2. Computational simulations of electronic properties of nanoscale systems

3. Computational simulations of optical properties of nanoscale systems

4. Machine learning in materials science

Details of the Position

1. Duration: 2 years

2. Fellowship:

o 1st year: ₹58,000/month + 16% HRA

o 2nd year: ₹61,000/month + 16% HRA

o Awaiting PhD degree: ₹41,000/month + 16% HRA

3. Professional Development Grant: ₹50,000 per year
