Job Description

As a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, you have the opportunity to apply for a Post-Doctoral fellow position in the Microgrid and Drives Research Lab. In this role, you will be involved in research projects focusing on the design and development of Microgrid cluster and blockchain for smart microgrid/grid technologies. You will work alongside a team of experts and have access to advanced equipment and facilities. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct independent research in Microgrid technologies, particularly the transition towards Smartgrid prototype - Learn, contrive, and develop control algorithms for a battery augmented 3kW Wind-Solar Rooftop renewable power system interfaced with WAVECT controller - Develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems - Collaborate with fellow researchers and industry partners to drive advancements in the field - Disseminate research findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at conferences **Requirements:** - Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field - Strong background in power systems, control systems, renewable energy technologies, and familiarity with optimization algorithms - Experience with smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems is advantageous - Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, BLOCKCHAIN, or other relevant tools - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are passionate about advancing in the field of Microgrid/Smartgrid technologies and possess the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
