About the Role:

Devout Growth Media Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a committed and detail-oriented Political Researcher to join our in-house team full-time. This role involves deep-dive analysis of government data, public policies, political developments, and electoral trends to support our research-based content and media strategies.

We are seeking candidates with a strong academic foundation, ideally with a Master’s in Philosophy, UGC NET qualification, or a Ph.D. in a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on government schemes, policies, development data, and political frameworks.
• Analyze datasets from official government portals, policy papers, and parliamentary records.
• Generate research briefs, comparative studies, and political insight reports for editorial and content teams.
• Monitor political developments and legislative activities at the state and national level.
• Present findings in accessible formats including reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with writers, content strategists, and multimedia teams to inform fact-based storytelling.
• Ensure data accuracy, source credibility, and adherence to research ethics.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Master’s in Philosophy or related discipline (Political Science, Public Policy, etc.)
• UGC-NET qualified or Ph.D. in relevant field (preferred)
• Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of Indian political structure, policy ecosystem, and governance models
• Experience working with government datasets and public policy documents
• Proficiency in data interpretation, report writing, and research documentation
• Familiarity with data portals such as data.gov.in, MyGov, PRSIndia, PIB, etc.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex political issues
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines

Work Environment:

• Location: Work from office – Patliputra Colony, Patna – 800013, Bihar
• Timings: Full-time (Monday to Saturday)
• Team: Collaborative and research-driven media environment
