Plumbing Designer

ob Description:We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer (Civil Engineer) to design, plan, and coordinate plumbing and drainage systems for our projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing layouts, coordinating with internal architects, and ensuring efficient design of water supply, sewage, stormwater, and process drain systems as per project requirements and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and develop plumbing design drawings including water supply, sewage, stormwater, and process drains. Coordinate closely with architects and project teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing designs with architectural layouts. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards (NBC, CPHEEO, IS codes, etc.). Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of plumbing works as per design. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and technical documents related to plumbing works. Provide technical support to the construction team and resolve design-related issues at site. Review and validate contractor/vendor shop drawings and submittals. Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure alignment of plumbing designs with HVAC, electrical, and fire-fighting systems. Monitor progress, ensure quality, and support timely execution of plumbing-related works. Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution. 5 – 6 years of experience in plumbing design and coordination for large-scale projects. Strong understanding of plumbing design principles, codes, and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office. Experience in preparing design drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical documentation. Good knowledge of water supply, sewage treatment, stormwater management, and process drainage systems.
