PLM Infrastructure Consultant

Role Summary:Responsible for installing and configuring the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (GA, FD) and associated middleware components su ch as Java, Apache, and TomEE++. Manages relational databases and ensures proper setup of reverse proxy and load balancing for high availability. Handles platform upgrades, migrations, re-hosting, and environment refresh activities. Oversees monitoring and administration of the platform and underlying resources, providing timely troubleshooting and issue resolution. Adheres to customer-defined methodologies like Agile and maintains comprehensive technical documentation for configurations and processes. Collaborates closely with application teams, DBAs, and network administrators to ensure seamless connectivity between servers, databases, and middleware. Implements security best practices and establishes backup and disaster recovery strategies to maintain a robust and reliable infrastructure.

• Set up and manage middleware components (Java, Apache, TomEE++, SSL) for hosting the platform
• Configure and administer relational databases supporting the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
• Implement reverse proxy and load balancing for high availability and performance
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, re-ho sting, and environment refresh activities
• Monitor platform health, performance, and underlying infrastructure resources
• Troubl eshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly
• Follow customer-defined project methodologies (e g Agile) during imple mentation
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for configurations and processes
• Collaborate with application teams, DB As, and network administrators for seamless integration
• Ensure smooth connectivity between application servers, databases and mid dleware components
• Implement security measures and follow best practices for infrastructure management
• Define and maintain bac kup strategies and disaster recovery plans
• Knowledge / ExperienceMore than 4+ years of experience in 3DExperience Infrastructu re setup projectsHands-on experience in installing and configuring the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (GA, FD) across environments
• Prac tical knowledge of middleware setup and management (Java, Apache, TomEE++, SSL)
• Strong understanding of relational database admin istration (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Ability to configure reverse proxy and load balancing for high availability and performance
• Exp erience in platform upgrades, migrations, re-hosting and environment refresh activities
• Skills in system monitoring, performance tuning, and resource optimization
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues effectively
• Familia rity with Agile or similar project methodologies
• Competence in preparing technical documentation for configurations and processes
• Strong collaboration skills to work with application teams, DBAs and network administrators
• Understanding of network connecti vity and integration between servers, databases and middleware
