Role Overview

As a PLC Validation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software-driven machines meet regulatory standards and perform with precision in pharma and industrial automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute PLC validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure system performance matches predefined specifications.
• Validate control systems used in HVAC, pharmaceutical equipment, elevators, washing systems, traffic signals, and industrial automation.
• Analyse and document data ensuring it meets GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO standards.
• Ensure software integrity and functionality in systems running programmable logic controllers.
• Perform tests on control systems to evaluate anti-interference capabilities and reliability.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain documentation and validation logs.
• Work closely with engineering teams and QA departments during validation life cycles.
• Support in audits by providing validation evidence and technical documentation.

Skills Required

• Understanding of PLC systems, control logic, and automation concepts.
• Familiar with validation protocols like Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for software and automation systems.
• Documentation and report writing as per industry regulatory norms.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and interpret process control documents.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering
