Plant Quality

As a Plant Quality professional at WIRTGEN INDIA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of reliable products to our customers by establishing robust systems and processes. You will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner, monitoring scrap costs and blocked stock, and ensuring smooth execution of changes. Your role will also involve interfacing with OEMs and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, developing a customer-centric culture, and guiding the team on problem-solving and reliability improvement programs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement contemporary quality management principles and processes to ensure the quality of outgoing equipment sets a benchmark for the industry. - Analyze technical issues in the plant and implement robust solutions to prevent recurrence. Monitor the effectiveness of resolved issues. - Connect with internal and external customers, act on feedback, and collaborate with manufacturing personnel to establish best-in-class assembly processes. - Lead product launch programs from a quality perspective, conduct fit and function trials, and ensure the sustainable launch of products. - Conduct proactive and reactive audits of key processes, ensure compliance with SAP processes, and review blocked parts periodically for timely disposition. **Qualifications Required:** - Educational Qualification: BE in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering. ME preferred, MBA advantageous. - Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, CTQ parameters, and methods to control. - Strong problem-solving skills with Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferred. - Clear and crisp communication skills, ability to make decisions based on facts and risk assessment. - Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to support and be supported, along with team development and succession planning abilities.
