We are currently looking for a Plant Quality professional based in Pune with the following requirements: Basic Requirements: - Educational Qualification: BE (Mech./ Prod./ IE). ME Preferred & MBA advantageous - Experience: 12 years Purpose of the Job: The primary purpose of this role is to establish robust systems and processes for receiving the right parts, assembling, and testing as per group norms to ensure the delivery of reliable products to customers. You will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and resolving technical issues at the plant in a timely manner, monitoring scrap costs and parts in blocked stock, and ensuring smooth execution of changes. Additionally, you will interface with OEMs and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and develop a customer-centric culture within the organization. Scope of Work & Accountabilities: Your responsibilities will include implementing contemporary quality management principles and processes to ensure the quality of outgoing equipment sets a benchmark in the industry. You will systematically analyze technical issues, implement robust solutions, connect with internal and external customers, and work with stakeholders to establish best-in-class assembly processes. Leading product launch programs, conducting audits, ensuring SAP processes are followed, and driving closure of quality issues are also key aspects of the role. Skills / Competencies required: To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge of manufacturing processes, CTQ parameters, and methods to control them. Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, clear communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Additionally, planning, organizing, prioritizing tasks, and team development are crucial competencies. Certification in Six Sigma or equivalent is preferred.
