- Lead daily operations of the formulation plant including production planning, execution, and quality control.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective conversion of technical-grade crop protection chemicals into various formulations (e.g., EC, SC, WP, WG).

Educational Background

Bachelor s/master s degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Agrochemical Technology, or related disciplines.

Ad ditional certifications or diplomas in Agrochemical Formulation Technology, Process Safety, or Regulatory Affairs are highly desirable.

Preferred Background
- Experience in handling bio-based or sustainable crop protection products is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indian and international regulatory frameworks for agrochemicals.
- Technical & Formulation Experience
- Deep understanding of agrochemical formulations: EC, SC, WP, WG, CS, ME, etc.
- Experience in formulation development, scale-up, and optimization.
- Knowledge of solvent systems, surfactants, dispersants, stabilizers, and their compatibility with active ingredients.
- Familiarity with formulation stability testing, shelf-life studies, and packaging compatibility.
- Manufacturing & Process Engineering
- Hands-on experience in batch processing, continuous processing, and equipment selection for formulation plants.
- Exposure to plant automation systems (PLC/SCADA), filling and packing lines, and material handling systems.
- Experience in process troubleshooting, yield optimization, and cost control.
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Working knowledge of Indian (CIB&RC) and international regulatory frameworks (FAO, WHO, REACH).
- Experience in documentation for tolling contracts, product registrations, and quality audits.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and EHS standards applicable to agrochemical manufacturing.
- Tolling Contract Management
- Experience in negotiating and managing tolling agreements with third-party manufacturers or clients.
- Understanding of costing models, batch traceability, and IP protection in tolling setups.
- Ability to coordinate supply chain logistics, including raw material sourcing, inventory management, and dispatch planning
- Safety & Environmental Management
- Experience in implementing EHS protocols for handling hazardous chemicals.
- Knowledge of waste management, effluent treatment, and compliance with pollution control norms.
- Training and supervision of plant personnel on safe handling and emergency response.

- ERP & Digital Systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for production planning, inventory control, and documentation.
- Experience with digital quality control systems, barcode/RFID tracking, and batch reconciliation tools.
