Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and compliance targets.
• Develop and execute production plans, batch schedules, and manpower allocation across shifts.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, safety, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Stores for smooth batch execution and timely batch release.
• Monitor equipment readiness, line clearance, and material availability.
• Track and improve KPIs including yield, efficiency, downtime, and resource utilization.
• Support new product introduction, scale-up, and process improvements.
• Train and guide production staff to maintain discipline, compliance, and productivity.
• Maintain audit readiness and support internal/external inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 

  3 years of experience

   in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical production (softgel experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of GMP, batch documentation, and production processes.
• Experience managing teams and handling multi-shift operations.
