Plant Head - Plastic Manufacturing

Position: Plant Head

Location: Tukkuguda

PLANT HEAD - for overseeing HDPE / MDPE Pipes and allied Molded Fittings responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of twin manufacturing plants

Key Responsibilities

Plant Management & Administration: Oversee production, quality assurance, maintenance, HR, administration, and dispatch.

Production Planning & Control: Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

Processing Control & Plant Operations: Ensure seamless plant operations with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Cost Control & Management: Implement cost-saving measures, manage budgets, and ensure optimal resource allocation.

Plant Maintenance: Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure rapid resolution.

Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve operational issues, conduct tests and validations to meet quality standards.

Manpower Management (HR): Manage recruitment, training, and retention of skilled manpower, maintain employee engagement, and ensure adherence to HR policies.

New Machine Setups & Trials: Lead installation of new machinery, conduct trials, and ensure successful commissioning.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field; MBA or Master's degree shall be an added advantage.

Experience: A minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in managing HDPE / LLDPE / PVC pipe and fittings manufacturing operations, with expertise in extrusion and molding processes.

Skills

Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and operational planning skills.

Excellent communication and team management abilities.

In-depth knowledge of HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE and / or PVC materials, grades and formulations.

Experience with ISO documentation, plant maintenance, and quality control.
