Placement Executive ( insurance)

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Placement Executive to manage and facilitate the placement of insurance policies with various insurers. The role involves coordinating with internal sales teams, clients, and insurance providers to ensure efficient policy issuance, renewal, and compliance with underwriting guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Handle placement of insurance proposals (life/general/health) to different insurance companies based on client requirements. Evaluate and compare insurance quotes , terms, and conditions to suggest optimal options to the sales or advisory team. Coordinate with insurance companies , TPAs , and internal teams to ensure timely policy issuance and endorsements. Maintain and update client data, proposal forms, and policy documents in the system. Track policy renewals , endorsements , premium payments , and communicate with clients for pending documents or clarifications. Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations , KYC norms , and internal placement protocols. Support sales and operations teams in managing bulk placements , group policies, and corporate accounts. Maintain relationships with insurance providers to secure competitive rates and efficient servicing. Generate regular reports on placements, pending cases, and status updates for management review. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce , Business Administration , or related field. 1–3 years of experience in insurance placement , operations , or back-end support roles in the insurance industry. Basic understanding of insurance products , underwriting principles, and regulatory norms. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), email communication, and CRM or insurance software. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Preferred Skills: Experience with both life and general insurance product placements. Knowledge of IRDAI regulations , POS/Agent licensing , and policy lifecycle . Effective communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to handle high volumes of data and multitask efficiently.
