Placement Executive

to support the Placement Cell in coordinating campus recruitment activities, engaging with companies, and preparing students for placements. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good coordination abilities, and a student-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

Placement Coordination

  • Assist in organizing campus recruitment drives, interviews, written tests, and placement events.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between students and recruiters.
  • Maintain updated placement data, student profiles, and company lists.

Student Support

  • Provide guidance to students on resume writing, interview etiquette, and job application processes.
  • Help conduct training sessions, mock interviews, and skill-building workshops.
  • Assist in communicating job/internship updates and eligibility criteria to students.

Corporate Outreach

  • Contact companies to explore internship and job opportunities for students.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with HR teams and recruitment partners.
  • Support the Placement Cell in building new industry linkages.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare placement records, offer details, and recruiter feedback reports.
  • Assist in documentation required for accreditation (NAAC/NBA) and audits.
  • Manage communication letters, emails, notices, and schedules related to placements.

Administrative Support

  • Work closely with the Placement Officer and Placement Director in executing placement activities.
  • Assist in organizing job fairs, career events, seminars, and industry interactions.
  • Handle operational tasks related to student registration, attendance, and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Management, HR, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in placements, HR, training, or similar roles.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and industry expectations.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to interact confidently with students and recruiters.
