Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Placement Coordinator based in Barshi. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for connecting program participants with relevant job opportunities and building relationships with employers. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating placement activities, preparing participants for interviews, maintaining employer databases, providing guidance to participants, and collaborating with local organizations and stakeholders to promote sustainable employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills for effectively engaging with participants, employers, and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Customer Service for addressing participant and employer needs and concerns
• A background in Education and Recruiting to effectively guide and place candidates in suitable roles
• Ability to work independently, remain organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in local language(s) and understanding of the local labor market is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in placement or career counseling, especially in the social development sector, is advantageous
