Role Summary: The Commis Chef supports daily kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, cooking, and service while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and teamwork. Responsibilities vary based on experience level (Commis 1, 2, or 3). Key Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation and cooking as per recipes and standards Support the assigned kitchen section during prep and service Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation SOPs Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO practices Assist in stock handling and minimize wastage Follow instructions from the senior kitchen staff Support team members to ensure smooth service operations Learn and improve skills, techniques, and product knowledge
