Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Chef

Reporting To: Chef of the House

Job Summary:

Deputy Chef

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pizzas with consistency and authentic flavors.
  • Supervise and verify mise-en-place; ensure stations are organized and ready for service.
  • Check prep quality/quantity, label items properly, and maintain par levels.
  • Train junior chefs on prep priorities, hygiene, and time management.
  • Receive and inspect ingredientscheck quality, packaging, rates, and shelf life.
  • Manage inventory levels and control over/under prep to reduce waste.
  • Monitor daily spoilage/wastage, and prepare upselling suggestions for slow-moving items.

Education Requirement:

  • Minimum Education: UNDER GRADUATE IN ANY DISCIPLINE/Hotel management

Experience: 3-5 years of experience

Behavioural and Technical Skills

  • Should be active
  • Good with Speed
  • Quick learner and Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (Writing & Speaking both)
  • Should be ready to work in busy hours
  • Leadership quality
  • Knows how to manage team
