Description

We are seeking a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping stress analysis and design, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and reliability of piping systems in various industrial applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct piping stress analysis using software tools such as CAESAR II, ANSYS, or similar.
Develop and review piping design and analysis documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Evaluate thermal expansion, weight, and dynamic loads on piping systems.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve piping stress-related issues.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Assist in the development of piping specifications and design criteria.
Provide technical support during construction and installation phases.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in piping stress analysis and design.
Proficient in using CAESAR II, ANSYS, or equivalent stress analysis software.
Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and other relevant piping codes and standards.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) methods.
Familiarity with material properties and specifications relevant to piping systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
