Prepare piping information lists, layouts, and documentation in accordance with standard procedures and relevant codes. Process Piping & Marine Systems: Design and engineer process piping for onshore industries like refineries and chemical plants, or piping systems for newbuild vessels such as tugs, barges, and cargo vessels. Your Profile: Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in piping design and engineering, with expertise in either process piping for onshore industries or piping systems design for marine environments. Software Proficiency: Proven expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D; CADMATIC or similar; familiarity with working with point clouds is essential. Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, etc.). Knowledge of classification rules, marine safety codes, and other relevant engineering standards is a plus for ship-related experience. You will be responsible for delivering the Stress Analysis outcomes to the team. Your role will involve coordinating with the client to address any queries or concerns during the analysis process. Additionally, you will be responsible for team training and management. Your expertise in Piping Stress Analysis, particularly with CAESAR II software, will be crucial for this role. You should have a strong understanding of Piping Codes and Standards such as ASME B 31.3 and 31.1. Experience in analyzing various components including Pumps, Compressors, Tank Farm, Vessels, Columns, Flare Gas, Skid Piping, Rack Piping, and H.EX is required. You should also be adept at performing Nozzle Load Evaluations using standards like WRC107, 297, API 610, API 617, API 661, API 560, and NEMASM23. Attending consultant meetings and project reviews will be part of your responsibilities. You should have experience in both Static and Dynamic Stress Analysis, as well as in analyzing Buried Piping. The Role As a Piping Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience. Piping Design Layout Engineering: Develop piping layouts for mining, mineral processing, and metal extraction facilities based on PIDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and client specifications. Ensure the layout design optimizes space, operational efficiency, and ease of installation while meeting industry safety and environmental standards. Prepare detailed piping design drawings, including routing, support placement, and equipment integration. Coordinate the layout of piping systems with other engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical to ensure seamless integration. Select appropriate materials for piping systems based on factors such as fluid type, temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions. FEED (Front-End Engineering Design): Participate in the FEED phase of projects, assisting in the development of piping layouts and preliminary designs Work with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, estimate costs, and identify potential design challenges. Review client specifications and ensure the design aligns with technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements. Contribute to the development of initial piping design concepts, material take-offs, and cost estimates. Detailed Engineering Design: Prepare detailed engineering designs for the full scope of piping systems, including pipe sizes, materials, valves, and fittings, as well as system integration. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in piping design, layout engineering, and detailed engineering in the mining, mineral, and metal industries or related heavy industries. Proficient in AutoCAD, E3D, Plant 3D, or similar 3D CAD software used for piping design. In-depth knowledge of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, ISO) and the ability to apply them effectively in design. Experience in FEED and detailed design phases of projects, from initial concept to final design. Familiarity with stress analysis and material selection for various operating conditions (pressure, temperature, and corrosion resistance). Strong understanding of piping layout principles, including routing, spacing, support design, and integration with equipment and structures. Experience working on large-scale mining or metallurgical plant projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge in software STADD - Pro, Auto Spool/ Spool Gen is added advantage. 8.Thorough knowledge of discipline of Engineering techniques, the Design of engineered systems and engineering and Design Calculation. 9.Thorough understanding of Engineering Planning and control Methods. 10.Gathering user Requirement ,Preparing functional design document. 11.Skilled in oral and written communication.
