Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to deliver high-quality physics education to students preparing for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) board exams and the National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, foster a stimulating learning environment, and provide targeted support to help students excel in physics concepts and problem-solving skills required for these competitive exams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive physics lesson plans aligned with HSC and NDA syllabus requirements. Teach core physics topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, modern physics, and related mathematics fundamentals needed for NDA. Prepare students for physics theory and numerical problem-solving sections in both HSC and NDA exams. Conduct classroom sessions to demonstrate physics principles effectively. Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback. Provide additional coaching and mentoring for students needing extra help or advanced challenges. Regularly update teaching methods and instructional content to align with current educational best practices and exam patterns. Monitor student performance trends and communicate progress to parents and academy management. Maintain discipline and a positive motivational environment conducive to learning. Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and contribute to curriculum development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Physical Science, or a related field. Teaching experience specific to HSC curriculum and NDA exam preparation is highly preferred. Strong grasp of physics concepts and ability to teach physics-based mathematics integral to NDA. Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement strategies. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Patience, dedication, and ability to motivate students. Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. Experience with educational technology and digital teaching aids is desirable.
