Job Title: Physical Education Coordinator (PE) Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Qualification: B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education to lead and manage the school’s sports and physical education programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting physical activity, organizing sporting events, and ensuring students receive quality physical education aligned with curriculum standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver structured physical education lessons for various grade levels. Design and implement a comprehensive annual sports calendar. Organize and manage inter-school, intra-school, zonal, and state-level competitions. Identify and train students with athletic potential for competitive events. Coordinate with coaches and sports trainers to ensure efficient training programs. Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure proper usage and safety. Promote student participation in fitness and wellness activities. Liaise with parents, teachers, and external sports bodies for events and student development. Ensure discipline, sportsmanship, and team spirit in all activities. Submit regular reports on student participation, event outcomes, and overall program progress. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school setting. Proven record of organizing and leading inter-school and state-level sports events. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines, rules, and safety standards. Passionate about student development through sports and fitness. Preferred Attributes: Certification in first aid or coaching will be an added advantage. Ability to motivate students and foster team building. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/State board curriculum in sports and physical education.
