PHP Developer

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated PHP/Laravel Developer with at least one year of professional experience. In this role, you will be a key part of our development process, from "Discovery and Analysis" through to "Deployment and Support." You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, high-quality web applications for our diverse clients, contributing to projects that range from e-commerce platforms to custom business solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years

  of professional experience in web development.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Front-End Development and integrating front-end solutions
• Strong skills in Software Development and general Programming principles
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks and SQL databases is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the Laravel framework and core PHP.
• Write clean, secure, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Design, build, and optimize complex MySQL databases and queries.
• Collaborate with our design and front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment, participating in code reviews and sharing your knowledge with the team.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with other PHP frameworks (like CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii).
• Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework (e.g.,

  React.js, Vue.js,

  or Node.js).
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify).
