About the Role

Full Stack PHP Developer

This role requires a solid grasp of PHP backend development and frontend technologies, along with a strong understanding of Shopify’s APIs, Liquid templates, and app development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter).
• Integrate Shopify stores, APIs, and custom apps with PHP-based systems.
• Customise Shopify themes using Liquid and extend Shopify functionalities.
• Develop responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla or frameworks).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Debug, test, and optimise application performance on both backend and frontend.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and QA.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with

  PHP

  and at least one framework (Laravel/CodeIgniter).
• Proven expertise with

  Shopify integration

  (Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify App setup).
• Proficiency in

  Liquid templating

  , Shopify theme customisation, and app extensions.
• Solid understanding of

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX

  , and responsive design.
• Strong knowledge of

  MySQL

  and writing optimised queries.
• Familiarity with

  Git

  and version control workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot Shopify-related issues and optimise integrations.

Good to Have

• Experience with Shopify Plus or private/public Shopify app development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React.
• Knowledge of deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker.
• Experience in e-commerce platforms other than Shopify (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento).
