The successful candidate will join the CMOE group and contribute to the DigiOcean4Solar project, advancing scientific computing in the field of renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop and analyze multiscale models for wind-wave-structure interaction in offshore floating solar farms.– Design and implement scalable solvers for large-scale high-performance computing applications.– Assess farm-scale effects in floating solar installations.

Requirements

– Strong background in scientific computing, numerical partial differential equations, and finite element methods.– Proficiency in programming languages such as Julia, Python, or C++, and experience with HPC libraries.– Experience or interest in multiphysics or multiscale simulation methods.– Demonstrated enthusiasm for renewable energy and/or offshore engineering applications.
