Location: Varanasi Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 0–5 years Salary Range: ₹10000 - 15000 per month (Negotiable based on experience) Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and qualified Retail Pharmacist to join our growing team at Swiftly Meds Private Limited. The role involves dispensing medicines, maintaining stock, and providing expert guidance to customers on the safe use of prescription and non-prescription drugs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a passion for customer care. Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescribed and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines accurately and efficiently. Check prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential drug interactions. Provide clear and accurate advice to customers regarding medication usage, storage, and side effects. Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled drugs as per legal requirements. Ensure all medicines are stored properly and are within their expiry dates. Manage inventory — ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to avoid shortages or wastage. Handle billing, cash collection, and daily sales through pharmacy software (e.g., Marg, EasyPharma, etc.). Maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act standards in the store. Support health awareness and promotional activities conducted by the company. Coordinate with suppliers, doctors, and healthcare professionals for smooth pharmacy operations. Qualifications & Skills: Education: D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution. License: Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council (mandatory). Strong knowledge of medicines, substitutes, and drug interactions. Familiarity with pharmacy management software (Marg / PharmAssist / EasyPharma). Excellent communication, customer service, and record-keeping skills. Ethical, responsible, and detail-oriented personality. Work Schedule: 10–12 hours per day (rotational shifts, including weekends or holidays if required).
