Primary Title:

Post Graduate Teacher (Physics) - Senior Secondary SchoolIndustry: K–12 Private Education / Schooling Sector. We are hiring an on-site PGT Physics to teach and mentor senior-secondary students, deliver high-quality Physics instruction aligned to CBSE/ISC/state curricula, and prepare learners for board exams and competitive STEM pathways. This role focuses on hands-on experiments, concept clarity, and measurable academic outcomes.Role & Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned Physics lessons for Classes XI–XII that emphasise conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and application to board and competitive exams.
  • Plan curriculum units, create lesson plans, and design formative and summative assessments to track progress and close learning gaps.
  • Conduct and supervise laboratory practicals, maintain lab safety and equipment, and develop experiments that reinforce theoretical learning.
  • Provide remediation and advanced coaching for students preparing for board exams (CBSE/ISC/State) and foundational competitive exams (engineering/medical aspirants where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate student records, prepare report cards, participate in parent-teacher meetings, and communicate progress and action plans clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to contribute to curriculum improvement, co-curricular science initiatives, and professional development activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics or equivalent) and a B.Ed. or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven teaching experience at the senior-secondary (XI–XII) level; experience with CBSE/ISC/state boards preferred.
  • Strong command of Physics concepts across mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics; ability to translate theory to practice.
  • Hands-on experience running school physics labs, following safety protocols, and designing practical experiments.

Preferred

  • Experience integrating digital teaching tools/LMS (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams) and multimedia resources into instruction.
  • Track record of improving board results or coaching students for competitive exams (IIT-JEE/NEET foundation) would be an advantage.
