CBSE PGT Mathematics Teacher We are seeking an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics to join our team. Requirements Roles and Responsibilities: Academic Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world applications and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment in the classroom. Encourage active participation and maintain an inclusive classroom culture. Student Development: Identify individual student needs and provide additional support or enrichment as required. Mentor students for academic competitions such as Olympiads, NTSE, and other mathematics-related contests. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences. Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in mathematics education and integrate innovative teaching practices. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness. Required Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field (e.g., M.Sc. Mathematics). Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with specialization in Mathematics. Certification in teaching or relevant pedagogy training preferred. Prior experience (minimum 5 years) teaching mathematics at the senior secondary level (grades 11 and 12). Required Skills and Competencies: Subject Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the CBSE curriculum and syllabus for senior secondary mathematics. Proficiency in teaching topics like calculus, algebra, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and geometry. Teaching and Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools like smartboards, online learning platforms, and presentation software. Familiarity with tools like GeoGebra, MATLAB, or Excel for mathematical modeling and visualization is a plus. Interpersonal Skills: Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards teaching and mentoring. Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Organizational Skills: Strong classroom management and multitasking abilities. Effective time management to balance teaching, assessments, and extracurricular responsibilities. Innovative Thinking: Capability to design creative and interactive teaching strategies. Encouraging a love for mathematics and fostering analytical thinking.
