Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in History, located in Gonda. The PGT History will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons on history topics, with a focus on American History and other relevant curriculum areas. Daily tasks include creating lesson plans, conducting classes, assessing student performance, guiding research projects, offering individual support, and contributing to extra-curricular activities and student development. The chosen candidate will collaborate with other educators to ensure an enriching learning environment and implement aptitude-based teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in History, particularly in History, and proficiency in developing comprehensive educational content
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proven ability to conduct research and integrate findings into lesson planning and teaching methodologies
• Experience with training students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History or Education, with relevant teaching certifications
• Prior experience in teaching at the secondary or senior secondary level
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to balance teaching responsibilities and extra-curricular activities
