Personal Chef / Culinary Associate

This role involves daily travel to client homes, meal customization, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction. Chefs will serve multiple clients per day and must work efficiently within an 89 hour workday (48 hours per week) with one weekly day off.

Key Responsibilities

I. Culinary Delivery & Quality

• On-Site Cooking

  : Travel to client homes daily as per assigned roster within a designated Bengaluru zone.

• Meal Preparation

  : Cook meals as per the customized preferences (breakfast/lunch/dinner or batch meals).

• Cuisine Versatility

  : Deliver high-quality dishes across North Indian, South Indian, and basic Continental/Chinese cuisines.

• Food Safety & Hygiene

  : Follow strict hygiene practices and ensure cleanliness in all cooking activities.

II. Client Interaction & Kitchen Logistics

• Schedule Management

  : Adhere to a tight daily schedule and complete tasks punctually.

• Customer Service

  : Maintain polite and professional communication with clients; understand and incorporate feedback.

• Ingredient Usage

  : Use client-provided ingredients efficiently; inform clients of shortages when necessary (no shopping involved).

• Clean-up

  : Ensure thorough kitchen cleaning and organization after every cooking session.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience

  : 0 to 15 years in a professional kitchen, catering, or home-based chef roles.

• Culinary Knowledge

  : Strong understanding of regional Indian cuisines; additional cuisines are a plus.

• Efficiency

  : Ability to cook multiple dishes quickly and with consistent quality under time constraints.

• Mobility

  : Must have personal transport (two-wheeler preferred) for travel across multiple client locations daily.

• Professionalism

  : Trustworthy, respectful, and capable of working independently in client homes.

• Certifications

  : Basic food safety/handling certifications preferred.
