Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions in the HRIS (UKG), including hires, terminations, promotions, and other job changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Respond to and resolve employee inquiries submitted through the case management system (Freshservice) in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support HR compliance and governance by assisting in regular internal and external HR audits, ensuring data and documentation accuracy.
  • Partner with HR, benefits, and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely data transfer for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to address compensation-related changes and ensure compliance with local laws.
  • Maintain employee knowledge content for our India region.
  • Work with the Immigration team to assist with immigration processes.

Benefits and Leave Administration:

  • Act as the main point of contact for employees on benefits-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and complete necessary regulatory benefits-related filings.
  • Manage benefit administrative tasks such as new hire enrollment and dependent changes, as well as required vendor and regulatory reporting.
  • Administer and track leave requests in compliance with India-specific policies and regulations, including statutory entitlements.
  • Advise employees on leave options and entitlements, ensuring seamless coordination for return-to-work processes.
  • Provide additional benefit administration tasks as defined.

General Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HR operations.
  • Prepare reports and analytics related to HR data for leadership review.
  • Provide system training to employees and managers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3 5 years of HR operations experience specific to India.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws (Shops and Establishments Acts, DPDP Act).
  • Experience with HRIS (UKG preferred) and case management (Freshservice).
  • Excellent organizational, compliance, and communication skills.
