People (HR) Generalist

**Job Description:** As a People Generalist, you will play a vital role in managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and providing effective HR solutions to department managers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management. - Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws. - Coordinate employee benefits and leave management. - Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters. - Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for cost-effectiveness and quality of services. - Identify and assess HR-related risks, developing strategies to mitigate them. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies. - Collaborate with department managers to understand their HR needs and provide effective solutions. - Support managers in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development initiatives. - Work closely with Group People teams to align policies, procedures, and initiatives. **Qualifications Required:** - Tertiary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a generalist capacity. - Prior experience in HR management within shared service entities of MNCs or the Financial Services industry is a plus. - Strong knowledge of India local labor laws and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information and work proactively in a matrix reporting structure.,
