Pension Administrator

As a valuable member in this role, you will be responsible for supporting clients and scheme members on complex queries and calculations. Your technical knowledge will be crucial in advising on procedural and legislative changes, as well as enhancing client relationships through budgeting and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Communicating with clients and scheme members on complex queries via letter, email, and telephone - Gaining a thorough understanding of the administered scheme details and ensuring activities align with scheme rules - Performing complex pension calculations, entering pension data, and addressing inquiries using automated and manual processes - Conducting checking activities to support team members and utilizing MI reporting to monitor progress - Handling errors, omissions, and complaints in accordance with established procedures and timelines - Monitoring project income and collaborating with your manager to ensure timely and budgeted project delivery - Identifying opportunities for additional revenue within your client group and calculating associated costs - Staying updated on technical developments, procedural changes, and legislative updates to address implications effectively Experience & Qualifications: - Graduate with a minimum of 1 year of overall experience - Knowledge of Superannuation domain or defined contributions/defined benefits is preferred - Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word - Possess problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset - Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work independently - Good understanding of legislative and procedural changes - Strong capability in performing complex pension calculations and peer reviewing calculations for accuracy - Sound knowledge of member calculation processes, Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, scheme types, and governing legislation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
