Job Description

A Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of employee wages, handling payroll deductions, and maintaining legal compliance in salary disbursement����.Payroll Specialist Key ResponsibilitiesProcess salary, overtime, bonuses, and deductions for all employees using payroll software���.Check and collect employee timesheets and attendance records; enter and audit pay data for accuracy���.Maintain and update payroll records in databases and spreadsheets��.Prepare and distribute electronic payments and paychecks, handling direct deposits as needed��.Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, filing payroll taxes, and maintaining proper tax documentation��.Administer employee benefits, wage garnishments, and deductions as per company policy and law��.Generate reports related to payroll expenses, taxes, and benefits for management��.Respond to employee payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and advise on payroll procedures���.Collaborate with HR and accounting to ensure all payroll procedures align with company and legal standards��.Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations and communicateA Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of employee wages, handling payroll deductions, and maintaining legal compliance in salary disbursement.
