Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing including salary, bonuses, overtime, and statutory deductions.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
Create and map PF/ESI accounts; resolve related employee grievances
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations
Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal management and external audits
Handle internal and external audit processes efficiently
Manage death claims and final settlements with sensitivity and accuracy
Generate payroll MIS reports and cost analysis for management review
Support year-end tax planning for employees.
Stay updated on changes in labour laws and taxation policies
Assist in payroll system upgrades and automation initiatives
Ensure timely filing of PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax returns
Should be well versed in handling half year returns and year end returns
Address employee queries related to salary structure, deductions, and reimbursements
Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data
Support compliance during labour inspections and government audit.
