About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and seamless coordination with HR and Finance functions. This role demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll laws, and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Manage complete payroll processing using payroll software/systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Verify and reconcile payroll inputs such as salary revisions, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and incentives. Oversee time & attendance systems, ensuring accurate tracking of leaves, overtime, and absences. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (IT). Stay updated with minimum wage laws and implement compliant, flexible pay structures. Maintain accurate employee records including attendance, leave balances, and benefits data. Address and resolve employee payroll queries promptly. Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll data integration and reporting. Prepare payroll-related MIS and management reports. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. Required Qualifications & Skills: Masters degree in Business Administration. 5 - 8 years of proven payroll experience, preferably in a large organization. Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, statutory compliance, and wage regulations. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, Paychex) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential data.
