Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities

Payroll Management

Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.

Validate attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, and deductions before payroll closure.

Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other labor laws.

Liaise with finance and external partners for salary disbursement and statutory filings.

Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

HRIS Administration

Manage and maintain employee data in the HRMS/HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.

Ensure timely updates related to new joiners, exits, transfers, and salary revisions.

General HR Support

Assist in managing full employee life cycle data (onboarding to exit).

Coordinate to streamline workflows and access management.

Provide periodic reports and insights to support decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation).

Familiarity with HRMS/HRIS platforms and payroll software, experience with GreytHR software would be a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling employee data.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
