Job Description

Responsibilities

Calculate and process employee payroll accurately, including salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
Ensure payroll compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Prepare and file payroll-related tax forms and statutory reports within deadlines.
Deduct and deposit TDS from employee salaries in accordance with tax regulations.
Maintain accurate TDS records and generate required documents for employees.
Manage ESI registration, monthly filings, and compliance activities.
Process PF contributions, filings, and ensure compliance with EPF regulations.
Generate salary slips, payroll summaries, and other required payroll reports.
Handle insurance claim processes and coordinate with insurers.
Maintain and renew trade licenses and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Keep employee records, payroll documents, and statutory files up-to-date.
Provide payroll information and support to management, HR, and finance teams.
Stay updated on changes in payroll, taxation, PF, ESI, and labour laws.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and income tax rules.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in
English, Hindi, and Tamil
