We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef, COMMIS 1st to join our culinary team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, focusing on creating high-quality pastries and desserts. This role requires a passion for baking and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
Assist in the creation and development of new dessert recipes and presentations.
Ensure all pastries are prepared in a timely manner and meet the required quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and storage areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and assist in ordering as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

1-10 years of experience in a pastry chef or similar role.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
