Laxmi Misthan Bhandar (LMB) is building a new premium line of Indian sweets that blends heritage with innovation. Our vision is to reimagine mithai, elevating it into a refined, contemporary experience while staying true to its roots. We are now looking for a skilled pastry professional to work on product trials and development for this new range.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie (Pastry) with a passion for both modern pastry techniques and Indian mithai. The role involves conducting trials, testing recipes, and developing innovative products under creative guidance. You will play a key role in experimenting with premium ingredients and helping shape our new mithai range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct trials and develop recipes for new mithai and pastry products.

• Work independently on testing, while also collaborating on creative direction.

• Handle mise en place, production, and quality checks during trials.

• Maintain consistency, taste, and presentation standards.

• Ensure hygiene and safety practices in the kitchen.

• Contribute ideas for seasonal menus, festivals, and launches.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen.

• Prior exposure to mithai making (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of pastry fundamentals and recipe execution.

• Creative and curious mindset, open to experimenting with flavors and textures.

• Ability to work independently and manage timelines.

• Culinary diploma/certification in Pastry Arts or equivalent experience.
